Greater Endurance
Greater Endurance
Today on April 1, 2023 ( Nisan 1st) the word of Yahweh comes to me saying “ great endurance”. As the disciples and followers of Christ with planted seeds of the word of Yahweh deep within our inner spiritual man for the need to develop great endurance. Endurance is not an easy subject in our world of quitters or deserters. People give up easily on their callings or goals. The tastings and trials are all around us but we are enduring through the trial without compromising having faith or trust in God and His faithful towards His promises. One of the common things in the faithful man and woman throughout the Bible is endurance. In all the most difficult times of life, they endured it until the end and receive the answers. It seems like faith and endurance are walking together hand in hand.
James 5:11, You know how we call those blessed (happy) who were steadfast [who endured]. You have heard of the endurance of Job, and you have seen the Lord’s [purpose and how He richly blessed him in the] end since the Lord is full of pity and compassion and tenderness and mercy.
It was the Lord Yeshua who taught us in Mark 13:13, And you will be hated and detested by everybody for My name’s sake, but he who patiently perseveres and endures to the end will be saved (made a partaker of the salvation by Christ, and delivered from spiritual death).
Paul, an apostle of Yeshua said in 1 Corinthians 9:25, “Now every athlete who goes into training conducts himself temperately and restricts himself in all things. They do it to win a wreath that will soon wither, but we [do it to receive a crown of eternal blessedness] that cannot wither”.
Therefore it does not begin the Christian walk, but the one who finishes that counts with God. In running a race, it’s the finish line that counts.
The wise followers of Christ are continually preparing themselves by being filled with the Holy Spirit. Their sufficient oil was provided. We don’t have any choice but to stay filled with the Holy Spirit and fire. The five wise virgins in Matthew 25:7-9 had enough oil until the bridegroom came. Many Christians who were once of fire for Yeshua, the Messiah are now lukewarm and falling away and departing from faith because of crisis, offense, fear, confusion, and great deception. There is a purpose of Yahweh in our lives for going faithfully through endurance and overcoming the temptations of the enemy of our souls. The result is a blessing.
James 1:12, Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
Finally, the Lord Yeshua charged us to be faithful until death.
Revelation 2:10, Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
