Be Aware of God’s Timing

You may hear the prophets or the ministers of the gospel referring to “the anointing of the Son’s of Issachar”.

Issachar was the ninth son of Jacob.The name Issachar given by his mother means 'He will bring a reward, wages, payment, recompense, worth, and imperious. There is view that stands out among others tribes of Israel in the Biblical understanding. One of them is that their spiritual ears and eyes were able to “discern the signs of the times”. From the beginning of God’s creation, He set the foundation for prophecy since He spoke all things out of nothing. And He set time for sowing the seeds and time of harvesting by gathering what has been planted. There is a time of war and time of peace and earthly rest.

Among the twelve sons of Jacob, only the tribe of Issachar was granted divine understanding about the timing and seasons of God. This tribe of the sons of Issachar was built of 200 leaders who had an understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do.

“And of Issachar, men who had understanding of the times to know what Israel ought to do, 200 chiefs; and all their kinsmen were under their command”. 1 Chronicles 12:32

The tribe of Issachar’s transference of kingdom leadership allegiance from Saul to David. A strong and mighty man of valor with the number of eighty seven thousand joined David (1 Chr.7:5). With his mighty men by his side, King David was able to achieve great victories in battles. Eventually, king Saul and his sons died by committing suicide in his hour of desperation at the battlefield of Jezreel. The loyal sons of Issachar became influential in establishing a kingdom in Israel through David. In Psalms 102:13, He said,”

You will arise and have mercy on Zion; For the time to favor her, Yes, the set time, has come”. 

It is important to wait upon the Lord and be sensitive towards God’s timing. We are living in the last days with rapid changes and events all around the globe with increasing technology prophesied by Daniel some thousands years early. I believe with all my heart that we are the generation that is preparing to usher the second coming of Jesus Christ. We must be watchful and aware of God’s timing so that we will be in right standing with Him in right place. Aware of His divine timing and be obeyed to His leading. When the end time arrives, that is it. So His Body, build of the living stones must be aware of His timing and participant into every supernatural breakthrough. The line was drawn in the the sand between those who are double minded, compromise, unbeliever and those who are truly bearing the fruits of the Holy Spirit and operating in the power of life. God is invading and manifesting Himself to and through His people. Knowing God’s ways and timing will enable you to walk with Him. Be sensitive to His voice and wait patiently for His direction. He will go before you and removing all the obstacles on the way. Just yield into God’s voice and obey it. The Holy Spirit will always leads you into great victories.
