Prophetic Watchman

The powerful offensive weapon of watchfulness and prayer. 

The significance of being watchful and praying among Christ's followers cannot be overstretched.

His duty is to be alert. The solders of Christ must constantly be watching and praying. He must be on guard for any attack of the enemy. If he fails this first objective it would mean a terrible consequences. During the reign of Roman Emperors, when legionary soldiers were found sleeping or committing cowardly actions, they were subject to severe penalties, such as death, crucifixion, or even being tossed to wild beasts. As Christ’s solders in His Kingdom we must be on the alert.

Otherwise, the enemy’s of our soul would take us by surprise. In the Garden of Gethsemany, the Lord Jesus commanded His disciples ‘to watch and pray’ Matthew 26:41.

We are living in the midnight hour when the world is getting darker and darker. Prophet Isaiah prophecy that ‘ darkness as black as night covers all the nations of the earth, but the glory of the LORD rises and appears over you’. Isaiah 60:2
