Satan’s strategy is to first attack the human mind with his thoughts.

Satan's strategies have remained the same since the Garden of Eden. His start is by bombarding the human mind. Eve was attacked in the area where her thoughts were filled with doubts and lies. So, the first battle in the Garden of Eden are centered around human thoughts. Satan uses doubt and lies to gain access to the first couple minds, and eventually defeats them. An enemy’s deception resulted in the loss of God's given authority and dominion over the earth. By choosing independence, Adam and Eva lost their relationship with Almighty God. Considering the accounts of man's failure under heavy pressure and the bombardment of the human mind with “fiery darts”, we are aware that Satan's first strategy is to attack the people's minds. Satan was conveying his message through the serpent.

He injects poisonous thoughts into the minds of people, causing them to doubt God's promises and eventually rebel against Him. Both Eve and Adam disobeyed God's voice and did not listen to the voice of the LORD. They knew that God commanded them not to eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Yet Satan continually tempted them until that poisoned seed of doubt and lies was planted in their minds, and they believed the lies he wanted them to believe. He uses the same strategies with propaganda which is telling continually lies. After while people will believe the lies as if the truth. Satan wanted them to start questioning God's Word. The aim of his constant temptation was to generate doubt and unbelief, poisoning human minds and hearts with half truths and lies. Today, many followers receive God's word into their hearts and minds regarding the promises of God. Yet, Satan will try to bombard the minds of believers, causing them to doubt and distrust God. He aims to cause them to doubt God's Word by creating various circumstances that will cause the planted Word in their hearts to be choked. God is always the same, “yesterday, today, and forever”, His Word remains unchanged. Satan's objective is to make the Word of God ineffective and unfruitful in our lives. The first mistake that Eve made was carrying on with the conversation with the devil. The Bible is very clear in James, telling us that we have to submit ourselves to God, resist the devil, and he will flee. Satan deceived Eve in this scenario. He contradicted God's Word. He assured her that if she ate the fruit, she would live and be wise as God. Eve not only listened but carried on the conversation with Satan which eventually having the food hold and the opportunity in her life to do what Satan’s wanted, which is the separation from God. Both of them walked with God in the cool of the day, which means a consistent relationship and communication. God gave instructions about the fruit that was forbidden. Eve knew that God had told them that if they ate that fruit, they would die. Yes, instead of listening and obeying God, they trust and obey Satan's lies. Many people today are living defeated lives because they listen to Satan's voice. With this modern technology, if we do not know the shepherd's voice, you will be deceived. We must know the voice of the Good Shepherd so that we won't go astray and we will always be on the right path, in the very centre of His will for our lives. Like Eve, she was listening to Satan's lies, and her mind was polluted, leading to deception. Yet, God is calling us to victory over Satan so as the warriors lets not be ignorant about Satan's deceptive devices. Don't listen and don't allow Satan to be a part of your life. Do what Jesus has done. He always answered Satan with the written word of God. If you listen as Eve did, the devil will have access to your mind and eventually destroy you, thereby preventing God's purposes in your life. To discern Satan's voice, you must know the voice of the Good Shepherd, Jesus Christ. You must know His word. You must meditate on His word day and night, not turning to the left or right as He commissioned Joshua, saying, Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do. Joshua 1:8

It is necessary for you to understand the voice of the Good Shepherd. And as the same time it is important to have knowledge of the enemy's strategies. Don’t be ignorant. It is time for God's people to have a close, intimate relationship with Him. They must be entirely sanctified through Christ's blood, cleansed by the water of His word, and refined by the fire of the Holy Spirit, so that they can hear and discern the voice of the Good Shepherd. And they will not be deceived by the false teachers and false prophets. And they will not go into the wrong teaching, but they will be in the light and truth of Christ's Word. It's necessary to consider every desire, imagination, and thought that comes to mind.

Through the Word of God, you can take captive every thought and bring them to obedience. Meditate on those things which are good and lovely, because Christ is also seated in heavenly places, and we are also seated with Christ in heavenly places. But our mind must be renewed in the Spirit of the living Word of God. The beginning process of the renewal mind is hard work, because we must discipline our minds. We cannot afford to have a wandering mind. The Word of God must be the focus of our mind until it becomes our character. Then we will not question the will of God anymore, because our mind will be a mind of Christ, totally renewed to the mind of Christ. Then we can discern the will of God and walk in it. When thoughts enter your mind that cause you to doubt and unbelief, you must immediately answer with the Word of God. Go to the Word and search what the Word says about it. You must recognize them and bring them into the obedience of Christ. Refuse to listen to any lies. Reject them immediately when they enter your mind, and subject them to the Word of God. Replace your thoughts that prevent you from doing God's will and take away the peace, glory, and love of God with the Word.
