The Mission of the Apostles

The mission of the apostles is to bring change to the culture, the kingdom-like culture. The early apostles message to us was to change the culture. The subject matter of gender relations within the Christian community, including adultery, polygamy, prostitution, sodomy, homosexuality, literature, and the religious arts. We have to deal with the culture. There are other offences that occur in the community’s. We cannot afford an ignorance towards the spiritual warfare that are waging all around us. We must be aware. So, that our prayer warfare will aim correctly with understanding and discernment what's happening around us. Are we influencing the culture? Some nations have the Gospel for millenniums, some for century but are we affecting the culture?

Having the 1st Century apostolic and prophetic anointing of the apostles and prophets in 21st century would have had an impact on politics, religion, marketplace, education, government, culture , …etc. All of that was shattered when Paul when to Ephesians, when Philip entered Samaria, Peter to Roman centurion household turn them from useless things to the living God. The people said of them early apostles, “these who have turned the world upside down…”. Acts 17:6. The oppressive strongholds over the entire region where broken and the curses was removed out of the people.

Today, what causes young, violent children to shoot and kill, commit suicide, fell into fleshly activities such as sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies…etc. Yet the people are not touched and transform through the Christians. Our focus is not on the hearts of humanity. Our actions are not influencing the culture. The apostles and prophets had to deal with the relationship with teachers of false doctrines, false prophets, and heretics, which is the fourth one.

The offices of the apostolic and prophetic ministries.

The first generations of Christians, known as patriarchs, had a volatile attitude towards the current political order. The zeal of the LORD burned deep within there spiritual man.

We're witnessing the contrast between authoritarian leadership and democracy. And this opposition is really about the kingdom, bringing in the kingdom of God on earth. The King of the Kingdom is the perfect example of a man being consumed with the zeal of the LORD. Every moment of His precious life was focused on the divine purpose and calling. When Jesus entered the house of His Heavenly Father and saw the compromise and defilement among His people the burning zeal consumed every fibre of His being. It takes the baptism in fire of the Holy Spirit for us to come into such a level of zealousness.

And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force. Matthew 11:12

Today, are God’s apostles and prophets uttering the word of the Lord?, can all of these leaders influence the political governmental fields?

The world leaders are striving to come together and solve the problem.

Nothing's going to change until the church rises up with the apostles and the prophets attached to the Chief Cornerstone, the Chief Apostle, Jesus Christ. This is the final invitations for God’s apostles and witnesses to position themselves towards authority and stop being afraid to speak the truth to power.

God's word indicates that His ministers are protected by the cross of Christ and can perform miraculous exploits with signs and wonders following them.

The Days of Elijah and John the Immerser

Both Elijah and John the Immerser were violent men who spoke forth God's Word with great boldness, and God outstretched His hand to work signs, wonders, and miracles. Those prophets were lovely in person, but violent in spirit.Ready to forcefully advance the kingdom by proclaiming the whole counsel of the Lord. Every opposition that Elijah faced, God produced a miracle not only by heaven's standards. It was because of the condition in which they were dealing with that God needed to create a miracle because out of that was that opposition and that pruning and crushing that the order of the Lord was released on the the mantle of the sons of God. A great miracle was produced by the mighty act of God. When opposition and persecution are present, miraculous power occurs.

What was the importance of political order? Jesus Himself. When He said, 'My kingship is not based on this world, and your apostles and prophets, your mantle, your call are not based on this world”. Your ordination are based on the kingdom of God.

Great evangelistic movement with multitude of people receiving the salvation is crucial. Yes, power. Their objective is to make people love Jesus, repent, and return. The purpose is to be filled with God's presence and hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ and His kingdom. And the fact that we have a sword and fire in out mouths brings opposition. It generates opposition.

Peter identified the problem that Paul faced in spreading the gospel. Here they are. These are just some of the thoughts that come to mind. People were not convinced that he was an apostle or his conversation.

His message was denied. He was beaten and thrown into a pit. He was imprisoned. He was abandoned by his close friends, including Mark and Barnabas. I tell you, that's a painful thing. When people who you thought you could give your heart to turn around and reject you, desert you, and talk about you. Apostle Paul had that experience with Mark, whom he referred to as his son. In fact, Peter and Paul got into trouble with Mark. Both Mark and Barnabas deserted him. It's a challenging field to be rejected and deserted by someone you love and have been running the race so the Gospel of the kingdom. However, we have been ordained to preach the gospel at all costs.

The Promise of the Chief Apostle

Luke 24:49 (NKJV), Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high.”

Thanks be to God for sending the promise of the Holy Spirit and purposing victory over Satan’s work. Since receiving the full immersion of the Holy Spirit and power we don't have to be afraid of Satan’s attacks. We have been given the power to heal the sick, cast out demons. The same way that “God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him”, the same He anointed and commissioned us to do likewise. We are enabled with the power from on-high to carry on the building of the Kingdom of God. God has a purpose for Christ’s disciples, total victory. He sends upon us, the apostolic Holy Spirit, the Great Comforter Who is dwelling within us. And this indwelling power of the Holy Spirit to stand against the enemy of our souls, the devil. The Cheif Apostle continue to say in Acts 1:8 (AMP), But you shall receive power (ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria and to the ends (the very bounds) of the earth. His first miracle in the land of Canna was “water turn to wine” which prophetically typified the infilling with the Holy Spirit when He said to the servant, “ fill this jars with water to the brim” which he did. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we were given the “dunamis and exousia” to remove the ruling authority and influence upon the Earth.

So, what there is still demonic powers at work since the victory was accomplished at the CROSS?

The answer can be found in the Epistle to the Ephesians Eph.6:12-16

We are still at war, wrestling against wicked principalities and powers. Yet, the One who dwells within us (1 John 4:4) is more powerful and effective than the one in the world. The battle is spiritual not in the natural realm. So, must enforce the spiritual heaven with judgments already written. Paul taught this in the Ephesian letter and in the Colossian letter particularly. Notice the tenses of the verbs particularly. They are usually past perfect tense, or“realized present”. They are never future tense. One of the weapons is unceasing prayer and proclamation (Luke 18). This weapon of pray is mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds. They are capable of pulling down everything that has risen against a knowledge of God.

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.2 Corinthians 10:4-6
