Therefore, while we pray, the phrase come, where Jesus heal the deaf man and open his ears. He's saying, "Ephphatha, be open." Now, Jesus is praying through His church for the ears, the inner spiritual ears of His followers, His church, to be opened that they can hear the voice of the shepherd.
He's praying, "Ephphatha, be open," so that they can hear what the Spirit of the Lord is saying. They can hear the knock at the door so that they can open and Jesus can come in and dine with them in the Supper of the Lamb. Jesus is healing His body. He's healing the ears, since it is very n- necessary to have our ears tuned to the frequency of the voice of the Good Shepherd. As a sheep of Christ, as His followers, we must continually have the ears to hear what His voice, what He's saying to us.
We must distinguish His voice so that we could carefully observe His instructions and following the Lamb of God wherever He goes, and being with Him on this page, praying with Him, co-laboring with Him, being taught by Him. We must have continually ears sensitive, open to hear the message which He speaking to us through His Word, primarily through the written word and through the inspired word and His breath of the Holy Spirit. He give us the power of the Holy Spirit for the purpose to be His witnesses. In Acts chapter 1, verse 8, He says, "You shall be my witnesses. After that the Holy Spirit is coming upon you, you shall be my witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and to the ends of the earth." And today we are His witnesses in this city that God put us in. He's empowering His witnesses. Then from here ‘your location’ He can send them also to various different nations, languages, and tribes, and tongues and nations to witnessing for Him of His resurrection, that Jesus Christ is alive, and His character, His life, and His plan being living through His body, His church, because He is the head of the church. He is the Chief Cornerstone that everything is attached to it. He's a Chief builder. He's a Chief Apostle
The scribe in the book of Hebrews chapter 3:1, saying, Therefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Christ Jesus,
Let us gaze on Him and hear His voice, and let us continually pray with Him and fellowship with Him, and follow Him wherever He goes.
