The Apostolic Power

​Bible scholars define the Greek word exusia as ‘ex’ meaning "out." This is where the word root “Exodus,"or the Book of Coming Out came. Similarly, ‘exousia’implies acting out of a delegated authority granted by the supreme head of the church, Jesus Christ. We possess this authority within us, blended into His name.

Jesus has delegated His authority to us so that, in His name, we may perform signs, wonders, and miracles. Through this authority, people are saved, demons are cast out, and sickness and disease are healed. By operating in this dunamis power and exodus authority, we move beyond ourselves and exist in Christ.

When we were baptized, we were immersed into Christ, the Anointed One. We are hidden in Him, and Christ in us is that power and authority. The Lord works with and through us, manifesting His word with signs following. This is why the first-century church was so dynamic and fruitful; they literally performed the work of the One who sent them.

This is a key to the Kingdom of God that the early church grasped and utilized. They spoke the Word and acted in the power and authority of God Himself—a method that cannot fail. It works on behalf of the One who sent us. This same delegated authority is what you and I are sent to use to perform the works of God in the 21st century.
