Faith Hears & Obey
One of the greater abilities is to hear the voice of God. The Heavenly Father desires to speak to His children. Today there are so-called Christians who do not know the voice of God at all. The Lord Jesus said that they had ears, but were not able to hear, having eyes but yet able to see. I have met so many people that said, " God told me to do something, but I don't do it...by now I would be a billionaire...etc. When God tells me to do something I just do it and not get caught in the cycle of discussions and conformations. As the sheep of the good shepherd, we have to hear his voice and obey as Abraham did. When God spoke to him in
Genesis 12:1-3, Now the LORD had said to Abram: “Get out of your country, from your family and your father’s house,
To a land that I will show you.2, I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing.3, I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you;
And in you, all the families of the earth shall be blessed.
Abraham obeyed and left his idol-worshiping family. It was Abraham's people through the lineage of Ham down to Nimrod that build the tower of Babel and the city there. Abraham obey God's voice and leave Babylon City and started getting toward the promised land. There are sayings that actions are speaking louder than words. God like action and movement.
