The Ministers of the Most High God

Since the Garden of Eden, when man was created by God out of the dust of the ground, and when God breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, man became the minister of the Most High.

Genesis 2:7 (AMP), Then the Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath or spirit of life, and man became a living being.

Adam becomes the living expression of God, made in God's image and likeness. And there was a purpose for that man from the very beginning; he was set apart. His primary purpose for being called was to be sanctified as the minister of the Most High. It signifies being set aside for the ministry, primarily, first and foremost, unto God. Because he comes from God, he was created by God, just as a potter creates a vessel. In the image and likeness of God, man was created. And God breathed life into his nostrils. The spirit of God is the breath of life. We know as “the spirit of God” or the spirit of holiness that enables man to communicate directly with God and minister to Him. From the very beginning, God has a desire in his heart for someone to pour Himself into. That is why he says, “Let us make men in our image, after our likeness”.

While He creates man, He also creates his living soul filled with the righteous and perfection. And that soul is made up of three parts: mind, will, and emotions. He possesses the wisdom of God's mind. He has the will to follow God's will with one desire to please Him. And he has good emotions, which are the manifestation of God's own creative life and power. Adam, the first man, was the recipient of God’s breath. From the very beginning, there was a deep family union in that the father and son lived and walked together in harmony. And from the Garden of Eden, he was commissioned to rule and reign over the whole earth with God. Wow, what a blessing to walk with God and minister to Him.

My sons, do not now be negligent, for the Lord has chosen you to stand in His presence, to serve Him, to be His ministers, and to burn incense to Him. 2 Chronicles 29:11 (AMP)

I remember it was 2003. While I walked through the streets of London, I was completely lost. There was darkness, depression, and all kinds of hopeless situations. Nowhere to go, drowning with addictions and ungodly habits. There was no place for me to turn so by God’s grace and mercy I looked up and spoke this word, “ Heavenly Father if you help me, save me, deliver me from all the addictions and bandages of sin as long as I breathe, I will serve you”. I was aware that the Almighty God was listening to me, like the protocol son who realized his mistake and returned to his father's house. It was a turning point for me. I called on God and He heard me from heaven. And He answered me and delivered me from all the enemy's expectations, from all the habits, and ungodly alliances. And He saved my soul, rescued me, and restored my relationship with Him. Praise the Lord, hallelujah. God is calling a man and choosing him to stand before Him. He appointed him as a joint heir with Christ. The price for our salvation in Christ's precious blood was fully paid. I have been redeemed by God. God chose a man, which means he appointed him, set him apart for his divine purposes, and called him to stand before him. We also know that Elijah was a man who stood before the Lord. That word in Hebrew is “amad” meaning to dwell, abide, and stand firm in the presence of the Lord. The other aspect of the word also means 'arise and endure, establish, and be still before the Lord, before him, to serve him”. That word serve' means worshiped him, served him as the appointed minister, burning incense”. It is the prophetic reflection of Christ as the sweet fragrance of Christ in our lives. Paul the Apostle describes in 2 Corinthians 2:15-17. When we fully abide in Christ and Christ abides in us we become burning incense of worship. Dweller in God’s holy presence, walking with the Almighty and remaining in consistent fellowship. Thanks be to the Most High God who reconciled us through the blood of His Son, Jesus Christ, and called us as His ministers. The dominion and the power of the first Adam were restored with the Last Adam, Jesus Christ.
